I see what you did there…and like you, I really like a lot of things about Obsidian, including the figuring out new and interesting ways to record stuff. But…I also found myself spending too much time doing it, at the expense of productivity (I’m just a nonprofit exec with a side gig, not a PhD student, but that’s its own kind of pressure).
I appreciate that you reminded me that it’s ok to enjoy tinkering, whether it’s stamps, D&D maps, cars in the garage, or whatever. If you enjoy it, why not?
I also constantly think about Obsidian because the delays in Notion (my usual pkm) are just getting so noticeable…
