If You’re Worried About Burnout, It’s Already Too late.

This is going to be a short article, and a hypocritical one.

I attended a recent “Momentum” online conference hosted by

and the folks at Productive Flourishing Academy. I always get something valuable from those calls, whether it’s directly helping my work or just learning from other people.

The members of the PFA have become close and dear friends, and we support each other in our quest to realize our dreams — or at least not work ourselves into an early grave trying to do it.

That was one of the subjects being brought up — I can’t go into details because these are private groups, but honestly almost any of us could have told a similar story. It might sound familiar to you. If I was going to do my version, it would go something like this:

I know I’m supposed to only have five projects at one time, but really I have about eight, plus I’m taking a course and work just gave me more responsibility.
I’ve figured out that I can do everything as long as I give up sleep and only eat while I’m on the treadmill during conference calls. The camelback got me weird looks at the staff meeting but hydration, right?
Anyway, I’m also noticing occasionally feeling a little tired…
