Three Books That Can Give You More Time to Do What You Want
The advice is sound, the question is do you have the courage to follow it?
One of my favorite writers in the personal organization genre is @Ellane. Recently she wrote a lovely little piece about “containers” and how to figure out which of your stuff is worth keeping and which is just crowding out the rest.
I made a semi-facetious comment about how the principle of “one in, one out,” sounded really hard, so I was glad that my own “time container” was bursting already and I couldn’t add the time it would take to actually figure out the rest.
Her response, unsurprisingly, hit home:
Exactly! This is a process you tackle when you’re ready, not something you need to force…Good luck with the overflowing time container, that one’s often the key to the rest.
The thing is, I actually have all the tools I need to make more time. As I think about it, three books I’ve read give me everything that I need.
