Allow me to clarify for you: the article was about behavior observed by the author (and others) in men. Do other genders do those things? Of course. Is this article talking about a pattern particularly seen in one particular gender? Also yes.

If someone is writing about thematic elements of Star Wars, coming into the comments and saying “yeah, but why don’t you talk about Star Trek? It has spaceships, too!” missed the point. The point is: you feel so strongly about that behavior in women, write your own damn article.
